The AMI Montessori 0–3 Orientation & Assistant Certificate Program is designed for individuals who are interested in the earliest stage of a child’s development — the first three years of life, a foundational period that shapes intellectual growth, emotional development, and personality formation.
This course provides participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical understanding based on Montessori philosophy. It helps learners gain deeper insights into children’s natural development and the role of adults in supporting children to grow independently, naturally, and holistically.

COURSE INSTRUCTOR
Kavya Chandrasekhar
Kavya Chandrasekhar is an internationally recognised AMI Montessori Trainer and Specialist with over 20 years of experience in Montessori education across India and various countries worldwide.
She holds a complete range of AMI Diplomas across different developmental stages:
- AMI Diploma 0–3 (USA)
- AMI Diploma 3–6 (India)
- AMI Diploma 6–12 (London, UK)
- AMI Diploma 12–18 (USA)
She currently serves as:
- Executive Director – Montessori Institute of Bangalore
- Founder – The Montessori School & Kriyasthala (an integrated education model from 0–18 years)
- Member of the AMI 0–3 Training of Trainers Programme
With a strong academic foundation and extensive practical experience, Kavya Chandrasekhar has been involved in training, mentoring, and developing Montessori programmes for educators and educational institutions across multiple countries, with a particular focus on early childhood education for children aged 0–3 years.
