The AMI Assistants to Infancy (0–3) Diploma Programme, organised and delivered by MVEC, is designed for individuals who wish to gain an in-depth understanding of and provide optimal support for the development of children from birth to three years old through Montessori philosophy and practice.
This internationally recognised programme by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) is based on the belief that education begins from the earliest years of a child’s life.
The programme consists of more than 400 hours of theoretical study and a minimum of 250 hours of guided observation and practical training, enabling participants to develop professional knowledge, practical skills, and a profound understanding of children during the 0–3 developmental stage.

AMI 0–3 Training Director
Julia Hilson is an AMI Lecturer and Consultant with over 30 years of Montessori experience in the United Kingdom and Australia. She holds AMI Diplomas for 0–3, 3–6, and 6–12 levels and has served as a Montessori trainer, examiner, and consultant internationally.
She currently serves as the AMI 0–3 Training Director in Australia, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Vietnam, and Japan.
AMI 0–3 Assistant Trainer
Kavya Chandrasekhar is an AMI Lecturer and Montessori Specialist with over 20 years of Montessori experience in India and internationally.
She holds AMI Diplomas for 0–3, 3–6, 6–12, and 12–18 levels. She is currently the Executive Director of Montessori Institute of Bangalore, Founder of The Montessori School & Kriyasthala, and a member of the AMI Training of Trainers Programme for the 0–3 age level.
