Montessori Vietnam Education Center (MVEC) is now accepting applications for the AMI Montessori 0–3 Orientation & Assistant Certificate Program, designed for parents, educators, caregivers, and anyone wishing to gain a deeper understanding of children's development during the first three years of life through the Montessori approach.

AMI MONTESSORI 0–3 ORIENTATION CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

The AMI Montessori 0–3 Orientation & Assistant Certificate Program is specifically designed for individuals interested in the earliest stage of human development—from birth to three years of age—a critical period that lays the foundation for intellectual, emotional, social, and personal development.

The program combines Montessori theory and practical learning experiences, enabling participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of children's natural development and the essential role of adults in fostering independence, confidence, and holistic growth.

COURSE INSTRUCTOR

Kavya Chandrasekhar

Kavya Chandrasekhar is an internationally recognized AMI Montessori Trainer and Consultant with more than 20 years of experience in Montessori education across India and many countries worldwide.

She holds AMI Diplomas covering all major developmental stages:

• AMI Assistants to Infancy (0–3) Diploma – USA
• AMI Primary (3–6) Diploma – India
• AMI Elementary (6–12) Diploma – London, UK
• AMI Adolescents (12–18) Diploma – USA

She currently serves as:

• Executive Director, Montessori Institute of Bangalore
• Founder, The Montessori School & Kriyasthala (an integrated Montessori educational community serving children from birth to 18 years)
• Member of the AMI Training of Trainers Programme for the Assistants to Infancy (0–3) level

With her strong academic background and extensive practical experience, Kavya has trained, mentored, and supported Montessori educators and schools internationally, with particular expertise in education for children from birth to three years.

COURSE CONTENT

The program focuses on the following core topics:

• Child development from birth to three years
• The Absorbent Mind
• Sensitive Periods
• Montessori observation
• The role of the adult during the first three years
• The Prepared Environment
• Motor, language, and sensory development
• The role and responsibilities of the Montessori Assistant in the classroom

CERTIFICATES

Participants will receive certificates according to the components they successfully complete.
