She is a member of the AMI Pedagogical Committee, where she contributes to the development and enhancement of Montessori programs worldwide. In 2008, she pioneered a pilot Montessori program for children aged 3-6 in the Torres Strait Islands and lived there for over six years to expand this initiative into Parent-Child groups across multiple islands in the region.
In 2014, Julia became an AMI Trainer at the 0-3 level, conducting teacher training courses in various countries, including Australia, the UK, South Africa, Vietnam, and Japan..
