MONTESSORI EXPERIENCE JOURNEY – CONNECTING THE PASSION FOR EDUCATION
On the morning of April 29, 2026, we were honored to welcome students from the Faculty of Early Childhood Education – Ho Chi Minh City University of Education for a visit and an immersive exploration of the Montessori method in an inspiring learning environment.
More than just a field trip, this experience provided students with a vivid and hands-on introduction to Montessori education. Here, theory came to life through real experiences, where every learning material and classroom corner reflected the natural development of children.
Within the “prepared environment,” students observed how children freely chose activities, worked with deep concentration, and explored the world at their own pace. This sense of independence highlighted the Montessori principle of “freedom within limits” — a core value that nurtures self-discipline, confidence, and independence in children.
The sharing session became even more meaningful as students had the opportunity to listen to and interact with experienced Montessori teachers. Real-life stories from their journey alongside children helped clarify the role of a Montessori educator — not as someone who imposes guidance, but as a thoughtful observer and timely supporter.
By directly observing children working with materials in areas such as Practical Life, Sensorial, and Mathematics, the students gradually gained a deeper understanding of the Montessori philosophy: giving children the opportunity to discover and grow on their own.
The visit concluded with meaningful emotions and lasting values. More than an opportunity to expand knowledge, it became a source of inspiration that nurtures passion for teaching and encourages future educators to move forward confidently on their meaningful educational journey.
